The Minnesota Twins Report to Spring Training in 33 Days – January 9th, 2026

We’re counting the days until baseball returns for the 2026 season. We can’t wait to watch some more Minnesota Twins baseball!!!

We are 33 or #JustinMorneau Days away from the Twins reporting to #SpringTraining on February 11th.

The Minnesota Twins might be lacking at 1st base this season. They just signed 1B Josh Bell ($5.75M w/a mutual $1.25M buyout option) and traded for 1B Eric Wagaman (from MIA for LHP Kade Bragg*), who was drafted by the Yankees in 2017 out of Orange Coast College (Costa Mesa, California)), taken by the Angels in the 2023 MLB Rule 5 Draft then signed as a free agent with Miami in December of 2024 after playing 18 games with the Angels. He spent all of the 2025 season with the Marlins (.250/.296/.378 (AVG/OBP/SLG) going 119-for-476 w/28 doubles, 3 triples, 9 HRs, 53 RBIs, 4 SBs (in 5 attempts). He scored 56 runs, walked 32 times and struckout 100 times in 514 PAs.)
*Kade Bragg had a pretty nice ’25 season in the Minnesota Twins minor-league system. The 2023 17th round pick out of Angelo State University…
8-2 record; 67.1IP 45H 25R/22ER (6HR) 31BB 82K 2.94 ERA & a 1.129 WHIP over Low-A, High-A & AA.

Other options at 1st base are Kody Clemens, Edouard Julien and maybe Trevor Larnach.

Prospects we might see are Aaron Sabato & Mike Ford.

42 or #JackieRobinson Days the 1st game of the Spring on February 20th. 6 players have worn 42 for the Twins (or Senators): Mike Jackson (2002), Butch Huskey (2000), Jack O’Connor (1982), Jim Manning (1962), Cass Michaels (1950-51) and Al Kozar (1950).

76 or Alex Kirilloff (or Felix Jorge) Days til #OpeningDay2026 on March 26th
